By bringing your pet to Scooby Groom, you acknowledge that you are responsible for their overall well-being. We love your pets like our own, but we cannot be held liable for injuries or mishaps that occur during grooming.
๐ธ Financial Responsibility
Any grooming-related medical expenses or issues resulting from your pet’s behavior, known or unknown conditions, or stress-induced reactions are the owner’s responsibility. Scooby Groom will only assume responsibility in cases of proven negligence, and only up to the cost of the grooming service.
โฐ Timely Claims
Any concerns must be reported within 24 hours of the grooming service. Claims submitted beyond this time frame will not be accepted.
โ๏ธ Matted Pet Caution
Severely matted pets may experience irritation or bruising post-grooming. Extra charges may apply. Scooby Groom is not responsible for cuts, burns, or skin reactions in matted areas.
๐ผ Sanitary Trim Disclaimer
While rare, some pets may show discomfort after a sanitary trim. Please monitor for excessive licking or scratching, as we are not liable for resulting issues.

๐งโ๐ฏ Behavioral Charges
Uncooperative pets or those with behavioral issues may incur additional charges based on time and staff required.
๐ฎ Cleanup Fees
Pets with excessive bowel movements may need a second bath, with additional charges applied. Flea/tick treatments will incur extra fees.
If your dog urinates or defecates after waiting more than 1 hour post-service and a re-bath is necessary, a $25 fee will be applied.
โ Safety First
We reserve the right to refuse service to any pet that poses a safety risk to themselves or our staff. We also reserve the right to refuse service to any customer at our discretion.
โณ Prompt Pickup
Please pick up your pet within 2h after completion. A daycare fee ย will be charged $30 for late pickups.
โ Time Management
Grooming durations vary 2h until 4h ย depends of size. If you insist on rushing the process, we may terminate the session while still requiring full payment.

Not happy with the haircut? Let us know within 24 hours, and weโll schedule a fix-up. No refunds will be issued.
๐ง De-shedding Disclaimer
De-shedding treatments reduce shedding but do not eliminate it. Extra brushing is available at an additional cost.
๐ Safety Precautions
If you fail to show up for your appointment, your pet may be kenneled to ensure their safety.
โ Cancellation Policy
No-shows or same-day cancellations/reschedules will incur a $40 fee and we will ask for your credit card number to make the payment . Please cancel using the provided link at least 24 hours in advance.

๐ซ Abandoned Pet Clause
Pets left over 3 hours after pickup time with no communication may be considered abandoned. Animal control may be contacted, and the owner will be charged for boarding and any legal actions required.
๐ท Photo & Video Use Authorization
By booking with us, you agree to allow Scooby Groom to take photos/videos of your pet for promotional or educational purposes. To opt-out, submit a written request prior to the appointment.
๐ Vaccination Requirement
Proof of up-to-date vaccinations is required. Lack of proper documentation may result in service refusal. Scooby Groom is not responsible for illness due to unvaccinated pets.
๐ Contagious Conditions
Pets with visible parasites or contagious conditions will be refused service. A $50โ$150 cleaning/disinfection fee may apply.
โ๏ธ Matted Coat Consent
Severely matted pets may be shaved down to the skin. This may expose existing skin issues. We are not liable for reactions caused by de-matting. Scooby Groom is not responsible for cuts, burns, or skin reactions in matted areas.
Demmating Limitation: We perform dematting for a maximum of 30 minutes. If the demmatting process exceeds this timeframe, the coat will be shaved down
for the pet’s safety and comfort
๐ Grooming Consent Form
All first-time clients (or when policies change) must sign a consent form acknowledging all terms, risks, and procedures and watch our informative video provided with a link.
๐จ Style Disclaimer
We aim to follow your desired cut, but results may vary based on coat condition or temperament. No refunds will be issued for style preferences.
๐ Cat Grooming Clause
Cat grooming is at the owner’s risk. No sedation is provided. If your cat becomes highly stressed or aggressive, the groom will stop and we could reschedule to finish the service while the cat allow us. Handling fees may apply.
๐ Weekend Schedule Adjustment
We may occasionally modify our weekend hours. If you are planning to visit for any walk-in service, please call ahead to confirm that we are open.
๐ Medication/Sedation Disclosure
If your pet is sedated or under medication, this must be disclosed. Failure to do so releases Scooby Groom from all liability.
๐๏ธ Loyalty Card Policy
Loyalty cards are valid for one year from their delivery. Scooby Groom reserves the right to change, cancel or modify the loyalty card program at the end of each year. Thank you for choosing Scooby
Loyalty cards are valid only if presented physically at the time of service and stamped in person. Sending a photo of the card or requesting multiple stamps due to a forgotten card will not be accepted. It is the client’s responsibility to bring their loyalty card to each appointment in order to receive the stamp.
